Afternoon all. Some days are a mixed bag. Some we catch the bad guys, some we miss. After a morning of misses, we thought we'd stop off for a much needed team fry up. Having polished off a 'set 2', one of our plucky PCSOs clocked one of our local scoundrels in the same café based area. Then another. ‘Hmmmmm’, we thought. After a quick check to see if both were wanted we were left a tad forlorn. But, fate offered us a gem. Strolling along the road without a care in the world was our number one target. “He's a runner!” one PCSO cried ever so deftly. She wasn't wrong. He was off on his heels down the road, with us all bolting after him in hot pursuit. We were a little disadvantaged though, what with the bacon butties sloshing about, but the PCs and PCSOs pushed through the breakfast burden. They caught him trying to jump a garden fence near number 52, and brought his bolt to a safe stop. He was cuffed and then admin mode kicked in. We knew he was wanted for failing to appear, but we wasn't prepared for what else he was needed for.

Nice. Biscuits all round from the skipper's personal stash. Remanded to court and a tonne of paperwork sent a strong message to the local criminals. We were all happy bunnies after that nick!
